PUBLIC SPEAKING
Jason Tennenhouse doesn't speak from theory. He speaks from twenty-five years of operating in advisory rooms from The White House to Google's stealth innovation team. Every keynote draws from the corner of his career that matches the room.
He has keynoted TEDx Purdue, delivered a distance lecture broadcast on five continents, taught for years inside three of Purdue's most elite programs (including the #1-ranked Mechanical Engineering department in the country and the #18 Princeton Review-ranked Certificate in Entrepreneurship), and trained disabled Veterans entering entrepreneurship. He also draws on his 100+ nonprofit ventures , and his time as a collegiate athlete, Firefighter, hazmat Technician, and DHS Incident Commander. He is a member of the National Speakers Association.
Keynote talks
Design-thinking, ideation, and the intersection of design & psychology. Built design-thinking practice inside Fortune 100 R&D, co-designed a custom interdisciplinary graduate program at Purdue fusing business and industrial design (the same fusion now powering Purdue's nationally ranked ID MFA), holds multiple design and engineering patents, and won international design awards including HOW International.
Entrepreneurship, small business acceleration, and growth-hacking. Eight ventures founded. Three accelerators built from scratch. Five hundred-plus ventures coached to a combined nine-figure outcome. Co-founder of a $40M Lilly Endowment-backed regional initiative that became the largest IoT network of its kind and produced $250M in regional economic value. This is operator knowledge, not curriculum.
Placemaking and space design. Built and operated coworking, makerspace, and hospitality environments where the room itself was the product. Recipient of the Ball State Primacy of Place Award and MIRA Service Partner of the Year. Has designed pricing, programming, and physical environment as a single integrated system, and can teach an audience to see their own spaces that way.
Internet of Things and Physical AI. Built and led the country's largest rural IoT network. Worked on physical-AI and robotics concepts inside Google's stealth team. Speaks on where the hardware-software-human interface is actually going, from someone who has shipped both atoms and code.
Branding, marketing, and the entrepreneurship playbook. Repositioned a struggling IT services firm around hospitality principles and watched it take over its market segment. Designed and open-sourced a coffee-to-bicycle social impact model that three competitors adopted within a year. Currently writing his third book, Human-Centered Design-Thinking Strategy / 10 Ways to Get Your A$ on the Truck, on systematic humanity at scale.
Time management and the discipline of building. The least glamorous topic on the list, and often the most requested. Eight companies, three accelerators, five hundred founders, two books, a third in progress, a family, and a working farm. The talk is honest about the cost and the method.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
A speaker who does the homework on your audience before the keynote, refuses canned material, and leaves your attendees with a framework they'll be quoting back to each other six months later. Audiences typically request a follow-up workshop. Many book one.
